Upward Flag Football and Cheerleading 2010 Information:
- May 17, 2010 - Registration Begins
- July 27 – Evaluations and Orientation Between 6:00 pm and 7:30 pm
- August 3 – Evaluations and Orientation Between 6:00 pm and 7:30 pm
- August 7 – Evaluations and Orientation Between 9:00 am and 12:00 noon
- August 7 – Registration Deadline
- August 17 – Practice Begins
- September 11 – First Game Day
- October 30 – Final Game Day
- November 1 – End of Season Celebration
- Early registration cost is $75 per child for both Flag Football and Cheerleading.
- After July 20, the registration cost is $85 per child.
- All games and practices will be held on the fields at Victory Life Baptist Church. Victory Life is located at 12401 Slide Road, Lubbock, TX 79424.
- Upward Flag Football & Cheerleading is for children who will be in Kindergarten (K5) - 6th grades during the 2010 - 2011 school year.
- Upward Flag Football is a co-ed league.
- Cheerleading is for girls only.
- Financial aid is available on a limited basis. A completed Financial Support Form must be turned in to the church office prior to registering. Click here for the form.

Upward Flag Football and Cheerleading
Upward is more than a game. Your child will have fun learning or improving their sport specific skills through Upward. Participating in this league will give your child a chance to experience good sportsmanship on and off the field. While playing or cheering for Upward Flag Football, your child will also receive a special recognition award after every game and have the opportunity to develop new friendships.
Upward promotes character and self-esteem in every child by providing:
- A unique substitution system that allows equal playing time for every player.
- Co-ed leagues for boys and girls.
- A one-hour practice and a one-hour game each week of the 8 week season.
- An evaluation system that provides equal teams and equal opportunity for personal improvement.
Every Flag Football Player Will Receive:
- Upward Flag Football reversible uniform, consisting of a jersey shirt and shorts
- Football belt
- Wristband with vinyl window for play card
- Individual awards after each practice and game
- Upward Flag Football car magnet
- An end of the season award
Every Cheerleader Will Receive:
- Upward Cheerleading uniform, consisting of a cheer top and matching skort
- Two cheer poms and megaphone
- Upward Cheerleading face decals
- Upward Cheerleading car magnet
- Individual awards after each practice and game
- An end of the season award
