Helmets On, Chinstraps Buckled
I am so glad you are here this morning to worship with this great body of believers! Whether it is your first trip or you have been around the block with us before, know that you make our day by being here and being plugged in.
It is our prayer as a staff that we continue to encourage our fellowship forward in the Acts 2 model; worship, connect, serve. Gathering with the body is the important first part of that.
We are going to finish up our series this morning, Seven Steps of a Deeper Walk. I hope you have enjoyed learning as much as I have enjoyed sharing. If you have missed any part of the series, they are available on our app or on our podcast posts.
We are going to be in 1 Peter 5:8 today. The last part of this series is an important part of our daily walk. We have to understand the enemy. The word of God tells us that we have a personal enemy whose main desire is to take us out. While he can’t touch the believer eternally, he can do his dead-level best to make our witness less effective.
Let’s key in this morning on this important teaching from the Apostle Peter about how we put on our helmet and buckle up the chin straps. I look forward to what God is going to do today!
